Background
Printed matters were something that caught my interest early in life – when I was 15 years old me and my classmates made a magazine where we appraised our teachers in a less flattering way. It wasn’t very nice but it was the first printed matter I was a part of.

In October 1989 I started in the business for real – advertisements in the local newspaper “Ljusdals-Posten” became my livelihood. I stayed for 10 years – learned a lot and worked together with some very skilled professionals – something that I have much use for today. Most of all I learned about how to get a message across in a simple and clear way. It doesn’t matter how much money you spend on an idea if the recipient/target person doesn’t understand it.

As Marketing Director at RBI Sweden AB/Byggfakta I developed my knowledge about how to profile a company operating on a larger market.

The fall of 2002 (until I started Tångrings Grafiska in March 2003) I spent at the printing company “Trycktjänst” in Ljusdal. There I got my training in how to produce originals for print of high quality.

M-O Tångring
After much consideration about what to do in life I found myself working for Ljusdals-Posten as advertisement sales representative starting in October 1989. I stayed there for ten, very instructive and valuable, years.

My whole life I have been very interested in sports – both in practice and as a trainer. Above all I have practiced cross country skiing. The peak of my training career was the junior WC in 1992 and WC 1993 for Iceland and junior WC for Sweden in 1994.

In August of 1999 I started as Marketing Director at RBI Sweden AB/Byggfakta. Three very tough years followed – both private and at work. There was a lot of financial and managerial turbulence in the company which eventually, in the summer of 2002, led to that 29 people had to leave, including myself.

The really tough part came in my private life. After feeling for a long time that something was not right with my body I found out in May 2000 that I had got MS (multiple sclerosis). For me that means that my right leg is affected (it ”falls behind” a bit) and I have sometimes trouble articulating my words when I speak. I also sometimes get the typical weariness for MS patients, especially if the weather is hot.

All this has led to that I have a more different perspective on life now than before. Quality of life has become important to me. Me and my family’s well-being is the most important thing. I have been forced to really get to know myself and during that process I have learned that I truly have a competitive personality. That personality is reflected in my work – when I sit down to work my ambitions to accomplish something winning emerges and come on very strong.
